Peach Parade Pinterest Party

Pinterest Party?  What’s a Pinterest Party?  Well if you are like us maybe you spend a lot of time on Pinterest pinning home ideas, hair style updos, different crafts…the list goes on.  If you are not on Pinterest, check it out- we love it.  For those of us pinning away, we often find ourselves wishing we had the time to actually start doing something with these pins.  We assume all these other people find the time to have a job, social life, maybe kids and they still have an amazing house with time for crafting (believe us they don’t).

So- a Pinterest Party offers you the way to simply turn up and make the things you have been pinning.   Peach Parade do all the planning for you.  Here’s how it works:

  • Either sign up for a Pinterest Party we are holding (or get a group together and book your own with us)
  • Peach Parade will provide the supplies (cost dependent on craft)
  • Turn up at agreed location (you come to us or we come to you)
  • For the next 2 hours we will have fun making, chatting, eating and drinking.
  • You have a great time and a lovely item to bring with you.

We got together with some lovely girls last weekend for our first Pinterest Party.  Loretta from You Them Us Photography came along to take some snaps.  Her pictures are amazing!!  We love them so much.  Here’s how the afternoon went…

At 2pm people started arriving at my house.  It started with a few snacks (chorizo canapes, flavoured popcorns) and drinks (peach sangria, and fresh fruit water).  Click images to open gallery

Then we got started into the first craft.  Tassle necklaces- so simple (blog post to come soon on that one).  We all picked our colours and got to work.  We were all at different speeds (I was slowest, naturally) but it was such good craic and we chatted, drank and listened to our Peach Parade Spotify playlist as we went along.

Necklaces done, we needed something to carry them in.  Bag stamping is such a fun craft.  Just make shapes out of foam and stick them onto corks, then get stamping.  We used some stencils too with our initals for some extra personalisation.

We just got together for the sake of it, no special reason apart from we wanted to make the tassle necklaces we had been pinnng.  If you want to do the same just contact us about a Pinterest Party via Facebook.  Or if you are organising a hen party or birthday party then this is the ideal way to spend a few hours.  You could even make your own t-shirts, make wedding decorations or personalised gifts.  We have loads of ideas and can help you with your own ideas too!

A great afternoon with great girls.  I can’t wait until the next one xxx
